JOB DESCRIPTION - Mobile Specimen Collection is one who travels to job sites or employers and collects samples, normally urine or breath for the detection of drug or alcohol
use.  The necessary training will be provided to you, as well as equipment needed.

Companies participate in Random Drug and Alcohol Testing, as well as Pre-employment, Post Accident , Reasonable Suspicion Testing and rely on us to come to them when they
need our services.

JOB M - It is the collectors job to schedule their MONTHLY or QUARTERLY tests or "orders" throughout the testing period at a convenient time to both parties and complete
them.  It is typical to receive the bulk of your orders the beginning of the month.  You will be responsible for contacting the clients and scheduling them that month.  Other orders
will continue to trickle in.  Pre-employment orders will need fairly quick attention, within a day or two.  Post-accident orders need immediate attention, within moments.

You will be provided the necessary training and all supplies.  The actual collection process consists of securing the restroom, retrieving the urine sample, completing paperwork
and packaging the sample via UPS or FedEX.  You will also be faxing or emailing to appropriate entities and completing a Daily Log on Google Sheets.

The ideal candidate must be people-friendly, able to manage time well, motivated, organized and very detail oriented.

TRAVEL AREA - The area we are looking to cover is not quite determined yet.  We cover Central Illinois, from the Indiana border to St Louis. The south border is currently
Lawrenceville and north to Clinton, IL.

Those areas mentioned are the NORMAL monthly assignments.  We also are called to Champaign, Jacksonville, Benton, Salem and many more.

FULL OR PART TIME - Part time to start. The right person may definitely find themselves in a part time position with full time pay.  If you can do the work and prove yourself, you'll
have plenty to do.

HOURS / PAY - Unfortunately, we would like someone who can be available 24/7 for those emergencies, such as Post Accident.  Effingham is the Crossroads of Interstates and I do
get companies from out of state finding our website and calling with drivers sitting at a mile marker or truck stop that need a Post Accident drug and alcohol test.  Of course, those
call outs pay $100-150 depending on location.  Sometimes more on Holidays, etc.
The pay is so much per test.  Its not unusual to do several tests at one location.

JOB R- The ideal candidate will try to be available 24/7.  We do realize there are times you will be unavailable or "out of service".  You Should be accessible by phone or text at
all times.  You will be ready to take a call at most times.  A majority of the calls are for the Railroad and are Random Drug & Alcohol Tests that are prescheduled a few days in
advance.  There will be occasional short notice calls that come in and require immediate dispatch.  Most of these are to locations, such as Springfield, Champaign, Decatur, Salem,
Centralia, Mt. Vernon,  Jacksonville, Roodhouse or similar locations.  There are a few that will come in the middle of the night.  There are also a few requests that could require a
good deal of travel, a couple hundred miles.

HOURS / PAY - You will have days off with no calls and many days with several calls per day.  There is no guarantee, but we are extremely busy at this time.  I expect 3-4 calls at
least per week with an increase in volume.  Each client may have a different contract so the pay varies.  We have two basic pay scales, depending on whether its a short notice or
scheduled call and that depends on which client you are working for.  Depending on the number of donors, which company and whether its a short notice and location, the calls
will vary from $70 to $225 per call.  That sounds like a big spread, but when I average my hours spent, I ALWAYS averaged $30-50 per hour.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Smart Phone or availability to receive emailed orders immediately.
Transmission capability  -  A copy of each form must be faxed immediately to the Medical Review Officer.  In lieu of fax, an App such as CamScanner or Tiny Scanner can be used
from your smart phone.
Email -  You will be assigned a @randomdrug.com address
Computer, laptop, Ipad - device to access a Google spreadsheet for logging your work
Printer - test orders and affidavits will need to be printed.

If you think you have what it takes and can deal with the frustration of the public,
submit an application.
